Hi QueenBee and all,

Found this article from ETI in some OLD magazines in my collection. The article describes a multi-ROM interface board for the MicroBee.

I'm not sure if this is already in the collection (my downloads have been exceeded) nor of the copywrite situation.

Hope it is of interest.

Also found a brochure - the first page of which follows:

If this is not already in the archive - please let me know and I'll upload the rest.. :->

Thankyou Peter.

We do have the "No 1" advert, but NOT a scan of the "Multiply your Microbee's ROM capacity with this interface board" ETI article.

I'll try an OCR and PDF convert over the weekend and make it available on the site.

Hi Peter,

Thankyou very much for that, was a bit of a struggle but eventually got through it.
I've OCR'ed the 'Project 673' and made it a fully text searchable document.

It should be available shortly.

THIS PROJECT gives you the ability to extend your Microbee's ROM software
capacity. It is a board that just plugs into the Bee's 50-way expansion bus
and can either be fitted inside the Bee or externally.

This project design by F. M. Capmeil, presented with the
cooperation of Avtek Electronics, permits extending the ROM
capacity of the Microbee to 44K, or to 308K total by
daisy-chaining up to six slave boards to produce a sort-of high
speed 'read-only virtual disk' (a ROD?). It takes 2532s or 2764s
(can be mixed) and, in addition, provides 11 open-collector
outputs and eight buffered inputs.
